Basit is an Investment Analyst in the Venture Capital group at Amaana Capital. Prior to his time at AmaanaCap, Basit worked with the National Incubation Center, an early-stage startup incubator at LUMS, along with mKhata, a local FinTech startup, in a strategy role to help with fundraising efforts. Also, Basit previously worked with Standard Chartered Bank on design and strategy for innovative sustainable finance products in emerging markets.
Basit graduated with a Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance along with a minor in Computer Science from LUMS. In his free time, Basit enjoys following the English football league, exploring topics in quantum physics, and discovering new music across genres. Basit is passionate about the potential of technology for transformational impact and the growth of a sustainable economy.
